SEW Live - Columbus!

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Join me Wednesday, May 9th for a special Search Engine Watch Live event in Columbus, Ohio at the Hyatt Regency. This informal, half-day event offers attendees the opportunity to meet editorial staff, Search Engine Strategies speakers, and members of the Search Engine Watch community in person, network with local peers (me), and discuss the hottest topics and latest news in the search industry.

This event will be hosted by the Editor of Search Engine Watch, Elisabeth Osmeloski.

SEW LIVE! is a terrific networking opportunity for SEO consultants and SEM firms, interactive agencies and in-house search marketing managers in Central Ohio and the Great Lakes region.

I’ll be involved in the following session: 1:00pm – 2:15pm Organic Optimization

You can also catch fellow Karcher Group employee, Collyn Floyd, speaking on Link Building Strategies.

I hope to meet you soon; Cheers!

The Web Design Survey 2007

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Designers, developers, project managers. Writers and editors. Information architects and usability specialists. At my firm, The Karcher Group, we now have all these people and then some who bring surprisingly diverse backgrounds and skills to the table.  People who make websites have been at it for more than a dozen years, yet almost nothing is known, statistically, about our profession. Who are we? Where do we live? What are our titles, our skills, our educational backgrounds? Where and with whom do we work? What do we earn? What do we value?
